Registration Update

In a meeting with the Chairperson on Thursday 25 June 2009 the Deputy Premier confirmed that he was committed to the ongoing registration of speech pathologists in Queensland and has asked for a review of the decision which excluded speech pathologists from being included in the national registration and accreditation scheme.

The Board contributed to a joint submission to the Australian Health Workforce Ministerial Council to include speech pathology as a nationally registered health profession.
